Guided Fishing
Join Legend River Fishing on a tour to land the abundant fish species that call the North Saskatchewan River home. The fishing tours provide an opportunity to catch walleye, goldeye, pike, and sturgeon, creating memories that last a lifetime.
Paddler Pick-up
$50
Starting at the resort, you will paddle the 15 km journey to the Big Tree! Expect about 3 to 4 hours to complete the paddle (without stopping). Prairie Ridge staff will accompany you to stage your vehicle at the take-out spot. Bring your own gear.
NSR Bridge Tour
Explore the North Saskatchewan River on a jet boat. The tour will take you to and under five bridges, including the Historical Borden Bridge. Enjoy the beautiful sights and abundant wildlife along the way!

Cedar Barrel Sauna
Use of the Cedar Barrel Sauna with wood burning stove is free with your reservation at the resort.

The resort is home to many feathery friends, including eagles and owls! Bring your binoculars and spot a new species!
Walking
The resort boasts 3km of forested walking trails, with more to explore up the valley at the Petrofka Natural Spring.
Campfires
Wood is included with your stay at the resort. Fire pits are provided at each accommodation and the epic globe firepit is available for all to enjoy along the river!
Hammocks
Spend some relaxing time in the hammocks in the maple grove!
Swimming/Fishing
Try your luck at fishing from shore, or enjoy a day on the beach. Lifejackets are recommended due to the river flow
